I had heard good jazz records in the jazz cafe in school days.
The record collectors also came to the well through the cafe at the time.
I was taught a lot of jazz records from them.In particular I have heard well even now in Sweden

Nogawa teacher was born in 1900 in Shimane Prefecture.
He graduated from Waseda University Faculty of Architecture .
He was the first jazz critic in Japan. He was also the lyricist of the famous hit of the pre-war “Rain of blues”.
Composer of this song wasthe “Ryoichi Hattori” who was called Ellington of Japan.He died in 1957.
