Scott LaFaro died in a car accident after the Vanguard performance.
Bill Evans did not record or perform in public again for several months.
He was persuaded to return to music activities by Orrin Keepnews.
In those days Helen Keane had acted as a manager for Mark Murphy.
Bill Evans reappeared on the musical scene with an album with Mark Murphy.
I guess Helen Keane wanted to lighten the burden on him.
Many musicians for vocal accompaniment were gathered in Riverside Records studio.
Probably, he was encouraged from fellow.
She died in 1996 in New York at the age of 73 because of breast cancer.
