Fats Navarro recorded another session as a sideman in the company of the Brooklyn Beboppers February 18, 1947.

This recording was post most obscure studio session in Navarro ’s career.

The leader was Ray Abrams who was born in New York.

Unfortunately I have not hear these recordings ever.

Then Navarro recorded a superb work in two companies by Tadd Dameron’s band.

They had the first session for Blue Note on 26 September, and the second for Savoy on October 28.

If I had to choose one, needless to say I will prefer to the Blue Note recordings.

Because these recordings achieved their greatest studio performances for Blue Note.
