Paquito D’Rivera continues to make a decidedly fresh imprint on Latin and Brazilian jazz.

In 2002,he recorded ” Brazilian Dreams” with the New York Voices and trumpeter Claudio Roditi.

It won the Grammy for Best Latin Jazz Album.

In 2010,he released the expansive live album “Panamericana Suite “.

It won two Latin Grammys for Best Latin Jazz Album and Best Classical Contemporary Composition.

In 2013, D’Rivera paid homage to his mother with the Brazilian-themed trio album “Songs for Maura”.

It also won the Grammy for Best Latin Jazz Album.
